Week 3 · The PeopleRelationships, communication, and showing up for others.

Lesson 15 of 32

Opportunity Favors the Available

Success isn't just about luck—it's about positioning yourself to seize the chances that others miss.

The Lesson

Stop waiting for things to happen and start making them happen. You have to be both intentional and attentive —meaning you create the conditions for luck to find you, and you stay alert enough to recognize it when it does. Many breakthroughs come from seemingly random connections or unexpected projects. That means staying open rather than locked into rigid plans, saying yes to experiences outside your comfort zone, and taking immediate action on ideas that spark your interest.

People who appear "lucky" have usually just mastered the art of exposure: they try more things, meet more people, and say yes more often. They understand that opportunity rarely knocks loudly; it whispers, and often at inconvenient moments. Developing this mindset means trading the comfort of a rigid plan for the growth that comes from possibility.

The Question

What invitation or opportunity are you dismissing as "not worth your time" that might actually be exactly the kind of unexpected connection that changes everything?
